Early access pricing

We're onboarding teams one at a time. There's no billing during early access.

The whole platform, from day one

Every early-access team gets everything below. The limits on the right are the ones people most often ask about.

Included

  • Builds from your Dockerfile, deployed from Git, the CLI or the dashboard
  • A managed PostgreSQL database for each app, created on its first deploy
  • Redis with one line of config
  • Private object storage and persistent drives
  • HTTPS on every app, and custom domains with free certificates
  • A database backup before every deploy, and checksummed bundles on demand
  • Every branch with its own URL, database and storage
  • New apps private until you publish them
  • The CLI, the dashboard, and a guide for your coding agent

Good to know

  • Up to two custom domains per app, and only on public apps
  • 1 to 3 replicas per service, set by you — there's no autoscaling
  • One region today: AWS US East (Ohio)
  • No scheduled backups yet: backups run before every deploy and whenever you ask for one
  • Email from your app is for notifications: up to 2,400 sends in any 24 hours, per app per branch

No surprises when billing starts

We'll agree pricing with you before billing starts, and every early-access team gets at least 30 days' notice before it does. Until then there is nothing to pay and no card to give us.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free tier?

Nothing is billed during early access, so early-access teams use the platform at no charge. What pricing looks like after that isn't decided yet. We'll agree it with you, and give you at least 30 days' notice before any billing starts.

What do I need to get access?

An invitation. Request one, tell us briefly what you want to run, and we'll get back to you. We're onboarding teams one at a time.

What happens to my apps when pricing starts?

Billing won't start without at least 30 days' notice, and we'll agree pricing with you first, so you have time to decide whether to stay, or to take your apps and data elsewhere.

Can I take my data with me?

Yes. Download a backup bundle of your database and drives whenever you like with mecca app download. Your app is standard Docker and your database is standard PostgreSQL, so both run anywhere those do.

Do you support teams?

Yes. Invite teammates by email, and everyone in your group can see and operate its apps. Per-role permissions inside a group aren't enforced yet, so invite people you'd trust with every app in the group.

What are the limits today?

Up to two custom domains per app, on public apps only; 1 to 3 replicas per service, set by you; one region, AWS US East (Ohio); and no scheduled backups yet — backups run before every deploy and whenever you ask for one.
